It’s Christopher Duncan and Total Freedom TV coming at you today. Today I want to share with you the five ways to create your dream life. Now, here I am in this absolutely stunning location. Yesterday, we went snowmobiling, the day before that we went skiing. The people I’m hanging out with are absolute game changers.
In the last year and a half, we’ve been to 15 countries, built businesses that truly matter to us, helped my dad start his company. This is my dream life. It might be yours but it’s mine. Becoming a number one best seller was on my bucket list for so long.
I’m going to share with you today the five moves to create your dream life. Because here’s what I want you to know is, when I sat down with a lady that died…I mean, she died for nine minutes, flat dead, on the surgeon table. Let me give you the five steps.
Step 1: Have A Vision
Number one is have a vision – a super clear, crystal clear vision of:
- Where you’re going to be
- Who you’re going to be
- What it looks like when you finally get to that point when you do leave this earth, this planet
What is the vision for your life? We need to do two things. One, you need to have the vision, then you need to break it down. This is what I do when I work personally with somebody, privately with them. I help them to bring down the big vision into actual steps. You need to break it down.
Step 2: Find Your WHY
The second thing, step number two, is you must attach a massive meaning and a massive why. See, if you want to go make millions of dollars which you’ll have, if you want to go get an amazing relationship which I’ve got, if you want to build businesses, if you want to change the world, if you want to become an international speaker, if you want to do all these things like I did, you’re going to have to know your why.
People always say this. If you don’t look you’ll always be looking without. You’ll always be without if you don’t go within. You must find your why, your purpose, and attach that why to the vision.
Step 3: Align Your Whole Beingness
Step number three is aligning your whole being with that vision. Making it totally okay to be in that vision and be that purpose. It’s got to totally align with your whole system. What I really mean is it must be the thought behind the thought that’s aligning with being a multi-millionaire, if that’s what you want. The thought behind the thought must be able to give yourself total love so that relationship can show up and give you that total love.
You must dive deep underneath all of the stuff, all of your programming, all of your beliefs. Because I’ll tell you right now, that when you truly become aligned with your whole beingness and you become it, it will come to be very, very fast.
A lot of people ask me, “Chris, how have you built the company? How have you done what it is so quick?” I always say,
You’ve got to go within to get without, to get everything on the outside.
It’s an inside game. That’s step number three.
Step 4: Create Your Map
Step number four is to create your map. If you chart a course from point A to point B, you must have a map. So many people are trying to re-create their map. How much sense does it actually make? If somebody else has got to where you want to get to, to go, “I’m not going to listen to them. I’m not going to ask them. I’m going to try to do it myself.” You must have a proven map and then you must action it. You must commit to it. You must go full in with everything that they tell you to do.
See, a lot of times when I’m teaching and coaching someone to build their life, I say one thing. They say, “No, I don’t think that’s right, Chris.” I say, “Okay.” But I know that if you go that far I know what that lead to because I’ve helped, I’ve been there, I’ve done that. Don’t do that. People don’t understand the power of having mentors. I have a mentor in every area of life. You must have a map, you must have a plan that’s created from someone who’s already been there.
Step 5: Calibrate
Step number five is probably the most important step of them all. Step number five is you must ask yourself,
Am I getting closer or am I moving away?
Because when you do step number five which is calibrate, then you actually know if the map and the beliefs are accurate, if it’s actually working.
See, when you get this, say you’re building to your goal, this is what it looks like. It looks like, “that’s where I want to be. I’m going to break it down here for this year. This is what I do with my clients. Then, this is how it looks to success. “Oh, that’s what I’ve got to do. Uh-huh.” You just walk step-by-step to exactly where it is you want to be.
