Has this ever happened to you?
You’re sitting there, thinking about nothing, and out of nowhere you suddenly get this amazing idea. Then you get all excited, thinking about this idea and the possibilities it holds for your business. And then, while you’re in the flow, you start drawing up a plan to put it into action, boom! An email from a potential client pops up, asking if you offer exactly what you were thinking about.
This is the Law of Attraction at work.
Now, there are people who think that the Law of Attraction has no place in business. That it’s just the kind of “woowoo” stuff that caters to people who prefer thinkingabout being successful rather than going out and actually doing what it takes to becomesuccessful.
This is wrong; the Law of Attraction is just like the Law of Gravity. You don’t need to believe in it to be affected by it. And you (as well as your business) experience the Law of Attraction whether by default or design.
So now that it’s established, how do you bring it around?
There are 5 easy ways to implement the Law of Attraction into your business.
GET CLEAR ON YOUR DREAM BUSINESS
You don’t need the whole picture, but I strongly recommend you do take the time to have a clear idea of where you’re heading. If you want help with this, you can always get your FREE copy of my 4-Part Magnetic Mind Training.
BE A POSITIVE THINKER
Mike Dooley, author of The Secret, puts it this way: “Thoughts become things.”
When you catch yourself with negative thoughts whizzing through your head, swap them for better thoughts and more positive feelings.
For instance, if you catch yourself thinking; “Business was really slow this week,” swap it for, “Which gives me time to catch up on everyone’s jobs and make sure everything is running smoothly!” It’s about finding the glass-half-full in every situation.
VISUALIZE YOUR BUSINESS AS YOU WANT IT, AS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE IT
Visualization is a powerful thing. So visualize your business as you want it to be. Imagine your ideal business day, how much you would enjoy spending your time on it.
FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WANT IN YOUR BUSINESS EVERY DAY
Make it a daily habit to focus on what you want rather than what you don’t want. In relation, focus on what’s going well rather than on what isn’t. It’s all about perspective, and shifting your point of view can make all the difference.
SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE
When you surround yourself with positive people, it’s much easier for you to stay positive as well. For instance, a great place for you to connect online with other people in business and entrepreneurship would be my Facebook Group, where we foster a supportive, positive community. Alternatively, you could look up local networking events and find one that seems like a good match for you. Get friendly with other local business owners who have already (or are actively moving towards) achieved their ideal business.
