Doing less gets you more.
You read that right.
DOING LESS GETS YOU MORE.
I see you, obsessed with the busy-ness of business.
I see you in meeting after meeting.
Doing it all.
Getting out there and learning more things just so that you have more to do.
I see you overworked and underpaid.
If that’s really you, then do me a favor;
Stop and ask yourself;
- “What am I best at?”
- “Is that what I’m doing right now?”
- “Is there someone else who could be better than me at what I’m doing?”
- “What do I love to do?”
Most businesses don’t fail because of the idea or the talent in it. Most don’t fail because there isn’t enough passion and enthusiasm. Most businesses fail because the business owner gets overwhelmed. Most businesses fail because the business owner makes poor choices or becomes burnt out. Most businesses fail because they wish they’d stayed small but now it’s too late—they know they can’t go back.
Forward is the ONLY thing you care about—right?
Then the answer is simple:
Write down what you’re going to do.
Outsource the rest.
Do NOT deviate.
Create a team—hire them, partner with them.
Whatever you choose to do, do NOT choose to do it all by yourself.
You will never get to where you want that way.
