In today’s society, stopping and quitting is unacceptable.
We always hear about people going on and on in a certain business or task, but without clarity.
These people keep on going even though they do not reach their goals.
There are two types of people who never stop.
The Person who Never Gives Up Even Though They Are Wrong
This is the type of people who are very stubborn and do not stop doing the same things even though they end up having the same challenges or failure over and over again. They become so obsessed with their business that they fail to see that they are wasting a lot of precious time in a task that can never be done.
They keep on going and going and going…without wanting to ever stop.
They continue on even though they have lost a lot of money, energy and time because they believe that they will succeed someday.
Someday.
Sadly, that day never comes for some of these people.
They just keep on working and working without thinking of the time that they could have spent doing something else.
The Person who Loves Jumping Around and Looking For the Next Big Thing
There is another type of person who never stops. This person loves looking for businesses to build or ventures to invest into — he just keeps jumping around, without an end in sight.
This type of person does not commit to a single business. He goes with what is new or what is fresh. This can be good at times, but when this is being done over and over again, he will not be able to achieve anything because he was too busy getting in and out of businesses.
Instead of being able to build a great business, he would have invested a lot of time and money on a lot of could-haves.
So… Which one are you?
Are you the one who keeps on jumping around?
Or are you the one who is stuck in the same business that is bound to make the same mistakes?
Aside from your business and work life, this habit of not wanting to stop affects each part of your life. It can affect your personal relationships with others, your exercise regimen, your diet and other things that you have set goals for.
“The way you do anything is the way you do everything”
If you want to be successful and aim to achieve freedom, you must stop this cycle.
You must work towards building a business that will be able to generate income.
Otherwise, you would have just wasted a lot of time.
How do you stop this cycle?
There are two ways on how you can stop this cycle. Both of these mindsets involve stopping the losses.
Stop-loss Number 1: Stop when you are at a loss
In this mindset, you should clearly define what your goals are. If you do not achieve your goal in a certain span of time, you should quit. You should stop the losses even before they happen.
For example, if you do not achieve your desired monthly income in six months, you should quit your business.
You have to stop the loss while you still can.
If you stay in it for too long, you will have a hard time to recover from your losses.
Stop-loss Number 2: Stick to one thing until you reach your milestone
In this mindset, you must aim to commit your time and effort to one thing until you reach your milestone. You must be ready to give your all to a single business without changing your mind.
You must not change until you reach a certain point: your artificial milestone.
For example: you are aiming for a profit of $50,000. You want to achieve it in three months. You should not stop pursuing this goal until after three months.
You must aim to stick to your goal and refrain from jumping around from one business to another.
If you do not reach your milestone, then you can stop. Just make sure that you have allocated an ample time for you to be able to grow your business.
By doing these things, you will be able to break free from the cycle of not stopping.
You will be able to grow a business and earn profit from it!
You will be able to see the different opportunities that you can pursue and will not be stuck doing a single task.
You will be committed to your ultimate goal without delaying yourself.
